We've kind of spruced up the page a bit. Added the blog to the main site. The big annoucement is, however, what cons we plan to attend for the 2009 season! I'm going to list the cons now by dates:

Mizuumi-Con held on March 21, 2009 in San Antonio, TX at Lady Of The Lake University. (only Sammich will be attending.)

Jafax 14 held on June 27 - 28, 2009 in Allendale, MI at Grand Valley State University. (both JammerLea and Sammich will be there.)

San Japan 2.x held on August 14 - 16, 2009 in San Antonio, TX at San Antonio Municipal Auditorium & Holiday Inn El Tropicano Riverwalk. (Both JammerLea and Sammich will be there.)

So as you can see, we have quite a few appearances to make. And if you happen to know any places around San Antonio, TX and the Grand Rapids, MI area you'd like to see us, feel free to make a suggestion! As for now we're taking things easy and considering future projects to work on. See you at a con!

We had a great time at San Japan! We met a lot of nice people and were able to get a few commissions as well as find out what people were interested in seeing from us. Feedback was awesome. And there were a lot of nice people. Lots of nice artists as well. Lunchbox in print was on sale at the con and did okay for an unknown book. It was fun seeing people interested in the book as well as getting good feedback and recognition from people.

I know I'd love to go to San Japan 2. I'm considering going to Jafax next year as well. It was a lot of fun.

Lunchbox is all finished and has been sent off to the printers. Currently we're awaiting some copies that we ordered for San Japan (only a couple weeks away)! Once we get those and can make sure they've printed to our liking, we'll open the order up for everyone! Hopefully it shouldn't take too much longer, but we may not get them until the first week in August.

We'll keep you updated on how things are progressing.

The contest is over. ZinkyMomo on Deviantart won! She'll be getting a copy of the book. Thanks again to everyone who entered. It was wonderful to receive artwork!

The book itself is in the final stages of being put together. All art is done. It's only a matter of piecing everything together. This should be 100% complete in a short time. (Either today or tomorrow.) Then we'll announce when it's ready for purchase from the publisher.

Thanks again to everyone who has supported and visited this site!!

Hello! I'm here to officially announce a contest we are holding. We're trying to get a few artists who would like to participate in drawing for our book. Basically we'd like some nice fanart which will make the book nice as well as advertise YOU, the artist. The contest is being held NOW until July 19th.

To see all official rules please read this.

The winner will recieve a free copy fo the book mailed to them. All others will at the very least be notified if they are getting printed in the book. Contact us by email or deviantart, if you have any questions.

I've made it through one day of Jafax! Sadly we weren't able to finish Lunchbox in time for it, but we're working hard to finish it for San Japan in August. I'm really excited!

Jafax has been nice. I know the person in charge of Artist Alley and she's always good making sure we get what we need for our tables. This year Artist Alley has moved to a new building and has twice as many artists! There are so many wonderful and talented artists this year, it's amazing! We got a number of people coming through too, which I was worried about since we're away from the main building, but the series rooms were by us too.

I always love being at Jafax. There are a lot of interesting people who come through. My favorites are those who have never been to an anime con before. They always marvel at everything there is to do, and Jafax is so small and laid-back. Really, it's a great con to start at if you've never been to one before. Plus it's free!

I've gotten a few commissions so far and I've sold some prints and little Phoenix Wright magnet cards that I drew and Sammich colored. Last year prints didn't sell very well at all, but this year has been better. It makes me want to draw more in time for San Japan. Our book comes first though. It's great to hear what sorts of things everyone likes though! I think this is the year I've absorbed the most. It's hard the first couple years when you aren't entirely sure how to present yourself, but it's exciting to have a table and share artwork and talk to people. I'm really looking forward to San Japan now, though I'm nervous since it will be the first BIG con I've had a table at.

I've got one more day for Jafax, and I'm a little nervous, since my friend Bunny can't be there so we can watch each others' tables, but I know the Artist Alley Coordinator will make sure I can get a break if I need it. It'll be fun! Then it'll be back to working on Lunchbox and preparing for San Japan in August. There's always so much to do!

We've been working on a number of items. Currently and foremost would be the current work on the Lunchbox book. We've been trying to squeeze that in as often as we can. Quite honestly we've made progress, but it'll take a while yet before we can call the thing complete. I've been hesitant to guess how much we've actually done. I don't want to put a number on it. In the meantime we have a tiny omake for you. It's not much, but it's something to look at. I hope to keep people posted and have more updates in the future.

I added Wordpress to make updates easier. I'm adding some galleries as well as joining my old comic onto the site.

I shall integrate the shop items onto one page. That way we'll have more room for the actual comic/manga that is to be listed on our site. It should make navigation easier.

Future upcoming items: Buttons! For commissions and pre-printed designs.
